Oats. The cornerstone of many a whole-food diet.
Whether you’re an athlete, going to work or a school kid, a big bowl of steaming oats is a great way to start your day. Winter in south-east Queensland lasts about 6 weeks and regulars at my cafe cannot get enough of these coconut oats during that time, we bring it back to the specials board each year at this time with a bit of new inspiration on the top. Last year it came with stewed Rhubarb and macadamia & cinnamon crunch. This year it’s a sprinkle of our apple pie granola, fresh berries and honey.
